About Richard’s

Handed down from father to son, Richard’s Kitchens + Baths grew from one man’s desire to create and design with his hands. Company namesake and founder Richard Rawson tried to follow in his father’s footsteps as a pharmacist, but soon discovered his true love centered around designing creative spaces. Several decades and satisfied clients later, Richard turned over the full-service design firm to his son, Greg, who learned kitchen and bath design on the job with his dad while pursuing a business degree from Ball State University.

The family-owned business continues its long tradition of delivering quality and excellence today. Greg, an NKBA-certified designer, and his team of true professionals and craftsmen at Richard’s Kitchens + Baths transform homes throughout Delaware County and surrounding areas. Proficient in space planning, color coordination, safety and other aspects of reimagining your home, the RKBC team will guide you from start to finish, whether it’s a full kitchen or bath remodel, a man cave in the basement or a nicely organized walk-in closet.

Experience. Excellence. Outstanding Service. Let Richard’s Kitchens + Baths reimagine your home’s space with a unique design, professional installation, and a dedicated commitment for quality.

Greg holds both his Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and Certified Bath Designer (CBD) credentials through the National Kitchen & Bath Association — earned through real-world experience, rigorous study, and ongoing education.

Our Team

Certified by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Greg Rawson thrives on creating bold, custom solutions tailored to every client. He excels at building teams that achieve big goals and cherishes the lasting relationships he forms along the way. “I just love what I do. I love every aspect of it,” he says.

Greg grew up learning the design trade from his father, Richard Rawson, founder of Richard’s Kitchen & Bath Center in 1971. Armed with a Business Degree from Ball State University, he joined the family business in 1986 and took the reins as owner in 2000. Methodical yet spirited, Greg starts each day conquering his love-hate relationship with CrossFit—and brings that same drive and energy to every project he leads.

Amy Rawson drives the day-to-day operations at the family-owned Richard’s Kitchens + Baths, managing the office, overseeing bookkeeping, and welcoming every customer with a warm, professional touch. Since joining the team in 2012, she’s kept the business running smoothly while bringing energy, organization, and a can-do spirit to everything she does.

Described by her boss-husband Greg as a “firecracker who loves life,” Amy takes pride in making visitors feel welcome while helping to ensure everything behind the scenes stays organized and on track.

Amy believes a positive attitude makes all the difference, a mindset she credits to a former employer who showed her the value of approaching both work and life with enthusiasm and joy. She also has a deep appreciation for people who are great planners, a trait that helps keep both the office and daily operations running efficiently.

Outside of work, Amy loves spending as much time as possible with her family. She prioritizes gathering with family whenever possible and making the most of their time together. One of Amy’s favorite places to relax is Webster Lake, where she enjoys being outdoors and creating new memories with loved ones.

Brad joined Richard’s Kitchens + Baths in 2000 after working in the construction industry for eight years and earning a degree in Building Trades Technology from Vincennes University. As Project Facilitator, Brad runs the production side of the business, overseeing every project installation and working to solve any problems along the way.

Brad’s reliability, attention to detail and strong work ethic shines on every job, if our client testimonials are any indication! A man with a quirky sense of humor who loves John Wayne westerns, Brad spends his free time caring for Buck, Charlie, Tucker and Moose (two horses, a dog and a cat) on his Randolph County hobby farm, or doing small projects around the home. “Anything related to everything. Just a little of this or a litte of that,” he says.

Kirbee Case powers the Richard’s Kitchens + Baths team as a Design Assistant, keeping projects on track and running seamlessly from the moment customers walk through the door. She’s combined sharp organization with a friendly, can-do attitude to ensure
every remodel flows smoothly and exceeds expectations.

Always willing to lend a hand, Kirbee often describes her role as a bit of a “Jill-of-all-trades.” Whether she’s greeting homeowners, assisting with design presentations, or coordinating behind-the-scenes details, she enjoys helping every step of the remodeling process come together.

Kirbee is often the first person customers meet when they visit the showroom. She helps welcome them in, explains the remodeling process, and gets the initial steps underway.

Her favorite part of the job is seeing the latest design trends and helping homeowners transform their spaces into rooms that are both beautiful and functional. Kitchens and mudrooms are two of her favorite projects. “Kitchens are truly the heart of the home,” Kirbee says. “They’re where family and friends gather.” She also loves designing mudrooms because they create a stylish space to keep everyday life organized.

Known for her helpful, people-first mindset, Kirbee always looks for ways to make the remodeling process easier for homeowners and the team alike.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors whenever possible. She also has a soft spot for animals and loves surrounding herself with plants.

Sam Thornburg has been a geat addition to our team as he supports the lead installer and helps bring homeowners’ remodeling visions to life. Known for his easygoing personality and steady optimism, Sam approaches every project with a positive attitude and a genuine excitement to get the work done right.

One of Sam’s favorite aspects of the job is the company’s work culture. He enjoys being part of a team that takes pride in craftsmanship and collaboration. He’s especially drawn to finish carpentry, where precision and attention to detail can make a big difference in the final result.

Sam particularly enjoys working on full kitchen remodels, which gives him the opportunity to slow down, focus on the details, and watch a transformation unfold step by step. “I like having the time to try and make it perfect,” he says. “It’s really satisfying to see a big kitchen project
come together.”

In his role, Sam helps homeowners achieve their dream kitchens and bathrooms by focusing on the small details that often make the biggest impact. From clean finishes to careful installations, he believes thoughtful craftsmanship is what turns a good remodel into a great one.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time hiking and getting outdoors. And while most people know him for his work with tools, he also has a surprising talent: he’s really good with a yo-yo.
